I love making timelapse videos… they’re absolutely mesmerizing. It’s like watching flowers bloom right before your very eyes. Enjoy!
36 Days of Type 2020
WOOHOO! Yeah! I did it!
I completed this year’s #36DaysofType challenge! 36days is a yearly open call inviting designers, illustrators and visual artists to share their view on the letters and numbers from our alphabet.
Okay, okay, okay… So I almost did it. I mean, I did all of the 26 letters… and not the numbers. Who needs numbers anyway, right? Right??? … Eh, There’s always next year.
But hey, let’s focus on the positives. I started this year’s 36DOT while I was 38 weeks pregnant. When I began the challenge, I thought, I’ll just do what I can, no worries. It’s not like I’d be designing drop caps in the hospital. Fast forward two weeks, I’m sitting in my hospital bed, cradling a newborn in my left arm and a iPad in my right arm. Let’s be real, y’all know I wasn’t going to be getting any sleep during that time… so I might as well do something productive!
Wanna know my recipe for success? I stuck with one theme this year. Maybe y’all can see that after the first three letters, the same elements are repeated throughout the alphabet. Recycling the same color palettes and florals was vital to keep my focus. Eventually I just switched to autopilot, and didn’t have to worry about reinventing the wheel every time. Not to mention it looks pretty nice too.
So, without further ado, here’s my 2020 36DOT alphabet!
What’s your favorite? I love so many of them. L, S, and W are really doing it for me. Interestingly enough, the I was the most liked, followed by E and C.
36DOT 2021… I’m doing all 36 glyphs. You heard it here first.
Posi vibes!

Happy 2017!
A new year. A fresh start. A time to begin again! I'm proud to announce that I kept my resolution for 2016. Last year was great. I got married, bought a house... I can only imagine what's in store for me this year!
And what better way to start 2017 than with some super fun lettering? Happy new year!
Bees & Eastern Seas
The Wild Honey Pie commissioned me to design this poster for an upcoming show, featuring The Eastern Sea, at Cameo Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. I just started working with The Wild Honey Pie last week, so expect more pieces like this one in the future. ALSO - there isn't much I love more than the harmony of good music and good art together.
here's to you, Mom!
Here's a design I did for all you moms out there, especially Barbara Snow - the most wonderful mother and my very best friend.
Moms - THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO!
Va-Va-Voom!
I've done a couple of designs in the past for Adele Wolf, a burlesque performer and a friend. The art direction is always super flirty and fun, so I was really excited when Adele contacted me to create another logo for her expanding burlesque business.
Illustration Roundup January 2014
The gallery below is a collection of doodles and fun lil' illustrations I've done so far this year.
Hope everyone is having a great 2014 so far!
The holidays are here!
This year, I wanted to do something really special about the way I wrapped my presents. I had never played with linocut prints before, but I thought this would be perfect opportunity to give it go. After several hours of block-printing craft paper, dusting salvaged pinecones with gold glitter, and a lot of meticulous wrapping, I felt like a regular Martha Stewart DIY Goddess. In the end, I had a bunch of really beautifully wrapped boxes that my family was admittedly a bit apprehensive about unwrapping. Check out the process below!
Now I just need to figure out how I can outdo myself next year...
The Last Bison promotional pieces
It's not every day when one of your favorite bands asks you to do a poster for them. So I was over-the-moon when Dan Hardesty of The Last Bison commissioned me to create one badass illustration.
It's unlike my usual work, but I'm always up for a challenge. The Last Bison was so great to work with, and thrilled with the design, too. The poster is available to purchase from their store.
I was asked to create a t-shirt design, too. The design itself was actually done a while back as fanart, but the band liked it so much they had it formatted to be printed on a ladies' tee.
The Last Bison's new album Inheritance comes out March 5, 2013.
UPDATE: Listen to Inheritance on Spotify!
